We are Ben and Carissa Krey and we reside in Minneapolis, Minnesota with our pup, Bristol. We both share a passion for Jesus and bringing others into the love, acceptance and freedom that He offers. We have a gifted emphasis in evangelism and prayer.

While Ben has been DJing for more than 15 years, it has only been in recent years that he has been able to step into this role full time under the artist name Bennyk. From youth events, corporate events, school assemblies, to pop-up events on the beach, and just about everything in between, Ben is passionate about sharing Jesus through Electronic Dance Music (EDM) infused with worship. He has been able to share his music passion across the U.S., as well as in Brazil, Panama, Mexico, and Canada.

I (Carissa) have had a passion for missions since a very young age and have been on nearly a half dozen short term mission trips and I lived as a full time missionary in Argentina for 3 years.

In May 2020, we watched alongside the rest of the world, as the death of George Floyd happened, and riots soon followed. We knew we had to do something. We went right to the street corner (38th & Chicago Ave) where Floyd died, with a DJ sound system and microphone, to pour out Jesus’ love. We spent more than 50 nights on that corner bringing hope, healing, and racial reconciliation; as well as dancing on injustice, and truly seeing riots turn into revival.

A fire to see America transformed by the saving power of Jesus has continued to ignite in our hearts. In January of 2021, we collaborated with friends to host a pop-up high-energy worship experience on the boardwalk of Venice Beach, California. Between two visits to Venice Beach in March 2021, we saw more than 40 people give their lives to Jesus and more than 10 people water baptized. These experiences in Venice Beach have given us vision for how simple this mission to see America touched by Jesus can be. We want to take these pop-up evangelism & high-energy worship experiences to as many cities as possible. We want Holy Spirit fire to drop everywhere we go and are now calling this movement FireDrop. This movement wouldn’t be possible without the collaboration and support of our friends, Jonathan & Angela Burgess, as well as the pastors and church leaders we’ve partnered with.

Jonathan & Angela served in Youth ministry for 17 years and have been in Music Missions, Evangelism and Abolition Ministry for almost 9 years now.  They have had the honor to be a part of a music project called Transform. It exists to reach the lost, to end abortion and to lead God’s people into worship.  Transform has worked stages, schools and clubs in up to 14 nations!  They have a burning passion to help defend the weak by ending abortion worldwide.  This has lead them to rescuing babies from abortion and seeing restoration of those affected by it.  Radio, TV and stages have been the setting to share Jesus & seek Justice however in 2021 they steered their focus to activating the church & celebrating on the beach fronts and parks through FireDrop Movement.  With their 5 children they are a family of 7 on mission!
